THE SIMPLE PLEASURES OF SUMMER

Nothing like a burger, fries, a soda and a nice piece of strawberry shortcake on a summer day. The only thing missing is a piece of corn on the cob, then you would have a perfect summer meal. We hope you all have a great summer.

WE ARE STILL ALIVE OUT HERE!!

Yesterday was a day spent in the nice warm sunshine. We spent the day working in the yard trying to get this area fixed up. We are working on putting a stream in this area, at some point it will actually flow real water (probably not this year). We planted some trees and lots more flowers, Oma's favorite thing. Well if all goes well I can get on the back yard and get it ready to go this year, I have been a real slacker plus the money tree I planted is not growing as well as I had hoped, must need some nourishment of some sort. I think that we are close to having the front yard done so that all we have to do is keep the weeds out, that in it self is a big job, but the hard part is almost done.

WELL IT IS NOW OFFICIAL

It has finally come to a point where our Grand Kids out number our Kids. The honors (gold medal, great timing) goes to Benjamin, Weston & Emily's new little boy. He sure looks excited about his great accomplishment. Oma and Opa are sure excited to come and see you in only 47 days (if i knew how to put one of those cool count down things on here i would). You be a good little guy and we will see you soon.

We are joining the Blog world!!

Well the time has come when we must join the blog world so we too can share what is happening in our world. It will take us some time to figure out all the new toys that we can play with to catch up with all of you, but beware we are here.
